The training will help you understand which vehicles are commercial motor vehicles.  This will help you identify commercial drivers and vehicles that are subject to FMCSR so that you can maintain proper records and procedures related to these vehicles and drivers.   It will also help you distinguish between which vehicles and drivers are subject to interstate rules vs intrastate rules.
